With the festive Season Approaching Bexley NPT officers will be conducting high visibility patrols in and around the Town centres every Friday and Saturday Night between 1800 and 0300 to provide re-assurance and proactively deal with any incidents.

The borough is launching its Anti Drink Spiking campaign. All licensed venues have received the attached leaflet on recognising the signs of drink spiking. The vast majority of people will never be the victim of this crime, but for a safe night please consider the below:

Never leave your drink unattended, even for a moment.

Don’t accept drinks from strangers or from people you don’t fully trust.

Prefer bottled drinks and avoid sharing drinks.

If possible, watch your drink being prepared.

Plan your journey home and use reputable transport.

Stay with friends and look out for each other – if someone seems unusually intoxicated or unwell, stay with them and seek help immediately.
